(i)EMFC GRADUATION CEREMONY 15 DECEMBER 2023

(i)EMFC GRADUATION CEREMONY 15 DECEMBER 2023

Hooray!!! On Friday, 15 December, we celebrated 16 students who met the final (i)EMFC program requirements and proudly received their well-deserved diplomas at the joint (i)EMFC Graduation Ceremony.

Every graduation ceremony is important; whether many have crossed that finish line or only a handful of students – every graduate is worth celebrating!During the ceremony, to which the four graduates already mentioned were invited with their families and friends, a video was taken as a souvenir in addition to photos. We are proud to share these with you! It’s a big thank you for joining us at the ceremony with your family and we’re very grateful you have been part of the iEMFC ride. Your involvement, contribution, participation, input, and interaction have truly made the iEMFC an extraordinary experience. We’re very proud of each of you, new iEMFC alumni and ambassadors! All the best for your future and career!

The following special achievements were also appropriately highlighted by the chair/host of that afternoon, Prof. Dr. Alexander Brüggen:

– Each year, the student achieving the highest average score upon graduation (considering grades from all courses, including the thesis on the iEMFC transcript) is bestowed with the Prof. Dr. Tjeu Blommaert Student of the Year Award. The honour and the award of 2023 went to Iris Visser, a cohort 2019 student working for Unilever! Her prize consisted of a certificate and a small gift, serving as a lasting reminder of the great study efforts and the iEMFC journey. But, above all, Iris secures eternal glory with her name immortalized on the Student Award Plaque.

Once again, congratulations on this amazing achievement and your beautiful study results, Iris!

– Prof. Luc Keuleneer won the Lecturer of the Year Award once more in 2023. Three intensive course days during our iEMFC November 2023 seminar, one professor, great evaluation feedback on the interactive sessions, the real-world examples, his experiences, knowledge, his humor and an average evaluation grade of 8.9 out of 10. Luc has been part of the (i)EMFC programs of Maastricht University for many years and hopefully many more to come!

Congratulations on behalf of our team, Luc! Well done!
