iEMFC GRADUATION WORKSHOP 14 DECEMBER 2024

We knew they would succeed, and they proved us right! On Thursday, 14 December, Jorge Mario Ledesma Castillo (CRH), Lia Leopold (FrieslandCampina), Hernan Sanchez (PwC), and Iris Visser (Unilever) showcased their best during the thesis defense session organized at our Tapijn building. They all passed with flying colours, earning a stellar and well-deserved average mark of 7.5 (out of 10). According to the board, all candidates did their very best as the presentation, their discussant role, the Q&A and interaction were concerned. We expected no less!

The board consisted of Prof. Dr. Alexander Brüggen, Jos de Visser RC, a member of the iEMFC Advisory Board, and thesis supervisors Prof. Dr. Lisa Brüggen and Dr. Mathijs van Peteghem.

Once again, congratulations to you all, and the best of luck in future endeavours and your career! This era of intense but hopefully also beautiful iEMFC years, including that challenging thesis project, ended! Let’s not say farewell but goodbye; let’s stay in touch!
