iEMFC GRADUATION WORKSHOP FLASHBACK…

On Thursday 15 December, the last Graduation Workshop of the year 2022 took place and it was a very successful one. As mentioned last time, we welcomed 7 students for their thesis defense. We organised two sessions in the Tapijn buildings. One in the morning with Irina Colomeet (via Zoom), Yi-Ling Ho and Julius de Jong. In the afternoon it was up to Olga Goncharova, Ivo van Hest, Ramon Lenting and Ni Zhang to do their best.

The Graduation Workshop Board, chaired by Dr. Annelies Renders and consisting of Dr. Mathijs van Peteghem, Dr. Paulo Rodrigues (both thesis supervisors) and Jos de Visser RC (member of the Advisory Board), highly appreciated the good quality of the theses, the presentations, the discussions and the interaction. The average grade was 7.5 (out of 10), also thanks to the supervisors for their guidance during the writing process.

All the more reason to end the workshop with a glass of champagne! Proud of the new graduates and iEMFC ambassadors, and on behalf of the iEMFC team: Congratulations and all the best for your future and please keep us informed about your new career steps!
